Overview
Dating to the third century BCE, the tomb combines local religious concepts with architectural and artistic influences from the wider Hellenistic world. UNESCO recognizes its exceptional decoration and unusual design. Identifications of the deceased or individual figures remain scholarly interpretations, and the tomb must not be conflated with the entire reserve.
