Editorial Policy
Pilgrim Map is a research-first atlas. Pages are written to answer a useful question, explain a sacred place clearly, and point readers to related routes, traditions, and practical context.
Research
Site records, pilgrimage route data, public references, and structured content notes. The goal is pages specific enough to be helpful without overstating what is not yet verified.
Review
Pages marked as incomplete or needing review stay out of the sitemap until they reach a stronger content tier.
Sitemap policy
Only stronger site pages are included in sitemap.xml. Thin pages, stubs, and pages needing review are excluded so the sitemap reflects the best available content.
Updates
Hub pages, route pages, and major destination pages are expanded first. Internal links point readers toward the pages with the most context.
